Well seeing that this is my first post I better start from the beginning. I’ve been a fan of the 40k universe for over 10yrs now, but I prefer to collect and paint armies rather than fighting with them. So far I have collected 2 space marine armies, 1 chaos space marine army and a tau army.
So lets start with the first army i collected, my 5th company ultramarine army. compared to the space marine armies people are collecting today my ultramarine army is very old school in terms of models. The majority of models in my ultramarine army come from the 2nd and 3rd generation of 40k, but i have included newer ones as well. So far my ultramarine army stands at over 2000pts in strength, but that’s only the models I’ve painted so far. The HQ elements of my Ultramarine army consist of:
Fifth Company Captain Galenus, Master of the Marches (who I have heavily converted from the old marneus calgar model).
And a Librarian in terminator armour
